Ten years of creativity, technology and growth.
Founded in 2016 to break out of the cage.
Nalu is an Italian web and digital marketing agency, founded in 2016 from an idea by Marco Bagiacchi: many people like him needed to express themselves and broaden their horizons, and the traditional agency model didn't allow it.
In a traditional agency you're a bit caged. In industries, because you always work for the same kinds of clients. In method, because the process is fixed and not up for discussion. In ideas, because every project has to follow the same production line, from start to finish.
Nalu was born to do the opposite. A network of independent professionals where the mind is free to travel and express itself. Where you meet new collaborators, and each one brings the others new ideas and ways of working they'd never considered. A developer learns from the photographer, the designer from the campaign expert, and the client gets the best of all of them.
The name recalls the sea: nalu, in Hawaiian, means wave. Like a current, the network changes shape around each project, but never loses its direction.
Four numbers.
One direction.
Ten years of projects, people and relationships. Each number tells part of the story.
Companies and professionals, in Italy and abroad.
Enough to know what really matters.
+ network
One direction, the right specialists for every project.
A different team for every project.
We don't fit your project to the people we have in the office: we choose the right people for your project. So you work with real specialists, coordinated by a single lead, and you pay for skills instead of overhead.
- The first step
We listen
A call to understand goals, audience, timeline and budget. The right questions before any proposal.
- Custom
We build the team
We pick the right specialists in the network for that project: people who know the industry, who've already solved similar problems.
- Always
A single lead
A direct contact coordinates everything and answers to you. No passing the buck, no pointless handoffs.
- After launch
We grow together
We measure, we improve, we stay reachable. And every project enriches the network with new ideas.
Why we work as a network.
Eight crafts. A single lead.
The network is better described by what it can do than by an org chart. These are the crafts we bring together, each time, around your project.
Strategy and brand
Positioning, brand identity, tone of voice, naming and rebranding.
Design
Interfaces, art direction, graphics, motion: pages people look at twice.
Web development
Custom websites, online stores, web apps and integrations, with clean, fast code.
SEO and content
Google rankings, copy, guides and strategies to get found.
Advertising
Google and Meta Ads campaigns, landing pages and conversion tracking.
Photo and video
Corporate shoots, product photos and content for social media and campaigns.
Security and maintenance
Servers, updates, backups, security and fast fixes.
Digital strategy
Analysis, marketing plans, KPIs and ongoing support.
Marco Bagiacchi, between code and design.

He started writing code out of curiosity, then passion, and finally as a profession. Today he coordinates the Nalu network and follows projects from idea to launch: strategy, design, development, SEO and performance.
His path hasn't been a straight line, and that's exactly what makes him useful to clients: he started with management software, moved on to apps and backend, then to the web, design and photography. He soon realized his place was where code meets creativity, where a website isn't just nice to look at but works and gets results.
Outside work he travels whenever he can, takes photos, hikes between the Umbrian Apennines and the Dolomites and plays soccer and tennis. He says you can't bluff on a climb: it takes method, patience and knowing when to stop and enjoy the view. The same goes for difficult projects.
- 2015
Code before design
Management software in C# and .NET: logic, databases, real problems to solve. A technical foundation that still guides every project today.
- 2016
Apps, backend and the birth of Nalu
Cross-platform mobile apps and server development. And the idea of a network where independent professionals could grow together.
- 2017
Web meets design
Websites, visual identities, photography: the meeting point of code and creativity becomes the heart of the work.
- 2021
Customers abroad
Projects for the UK and Germany: higher standards, more precise communication, new industries.
- Today
Code, SEO and security
More than 150 sites handled across Italy, the UK and the United Arab Emirates: custom development, advanced SEO, servers and security.
What we believe in, every day.
- 01
Freedom that generates ideas
No industry or method cage. When the mind is free to travel, solutions arrive that a production line would never see.
- 02
Clarity, always
Public starting prices, written proposals, set timelines, a direct contact. You always know who does what, and what it costs.
- 03
Custom, never mass-produced
Every project starts from that client's problem. No recycled templates, no shortcuts that show.
- 04
Results you can measure
We decide on data, not impressions: clear goals at the start, real numbers at the end.
- 05
Growing together
Collaborators and clients exchange ideas and ways of working. Every project leaves the network a little richer than before.

Born in Italy.
Open to the world.
Our network was born between Umbria and Veneto, with collaborators as far as Valencia. Our perspective reaches wherever there is a project that deserves a stronger direction.
No office to show off. Just people, presence and real relationships. The questions about us.
If yours is not here, write to us: we will reply as soon as possible.
Is Nalu a web agency?
Yes, but organized differently: instead of a fixed structure with offices and departments, it's a network of independent professionals coordinated by Marco Bagiacchi. For each project we bring together the specialists needed, under a single lead.
How long has Nalu been around?
Since 2016. In more than ten years the network has worked with over 350 clients, businesses and professionals, in Italy and abroad.
Where is Nalu based?
The network was born between Umbria and the Veneto and works remotely with clients all over Italy and abroad. When needed we organize in-person meetings and workshops.
Who do I talk to during the project?
With a direct contact who knows the project and coordinates the specialists. You can also talk to whoever is actually working on the design, development or campaigns.
How do you choose the professionals in the network?
We work with people we know and whose work we've seen: proven skills, reliability and a drive to bring new ideas. For each project we choose whoever has the most suitable experience.
Who issues the contract and invoice?
Nalu is a brand of Marco Bagiacchi. The contract and invoice are issued by the project's lead specialist: the quote always shows their name and tax details before work begins.
If you feel
the time is right,
it probably is.
Tell us about your project: the assistant prepares the brief in two minutes, then a person from the team replies. No automatic quotes.
