What a scenario isScenarios are realistic examples based on the projects we handle most often: they show how we work, they don't name clients and they don't report results. We're happy to talk through real case studies on a call, respecting our clients' confidentiality.

The point of departure.

It's a common scenario: a professional firm has dozens of quality projects behind it, but the website is an outdated template. Photos are compressed until they lose every detail, the copy never changes, and adding a project means calling the webmaster and waiting days.

The problem isn't just about looks. Many clients, especially international ones, check the website before even booking a meeting: if the site doesn't reflect the work, the firm starts at a disadvantage. And a site that can't be updated becomes a fixed cost instead of a tool.

Sound familiar?
  • The site is more than five years old and no longer reflects the level of the projects.
  • To add a project or a photo you have to ask someone and wait.
  • Images are grainy or very slow to load, especially on phones.
  • Foreign clients can't find a well-made English version.

How we approached it.

  1. Content and structure

We start from the projects: clear categories (for example residential, commercial, installations), a page for each project with photos, details, year and location, and a path that leads to contact.

  2. Editorial design

Strong typography, full-screen images and an asymmetric grid that stays elegant on smartphones too. The site has to convey quality before anyone reads a word.

  3. Light images, full quality

Every photo is generated in several modern formats and loaded only when needed: files of several megabytes become a few hundred kilobytes with no visible difference.

  4. Bilingual and self-managed

Italian and English versions crafted by hand, not translated by a plugin, and a simple panel the partners use to add projects and photos themselves, with a step-by-step guide.

  5. Copy that speaks to clients

Project descriptions written for people choosing a firm, not just for peers: context, the client's brief, the solution and the materials.

  6. Launch and the first weeks

Redirects from the old site, Google indexing checks and monitoring in the days after go-live, so you don't lose the visits already coming in.

The tools and why we choose them

Custom static website
Fast, secure and with minimal hosting costs: no plugins to update and no database to protect.
Modern image formats
Every photo in several sizes, served at the right size for the viewer's screen.
Lightweight content panel
Sized to the autonomy the firm really needs, without the complexity of a generic CMS.
Analytics with consent
To see which projects get viewed and where inquiries come from.

How we know if it works.

Before we start, we set the indicators and the starting point together, so results are read from data and not impressions.

  • Contact requests

How many people write through the site and which project pages they come from.

  • Time on project pages

Whether visitors really browse the portfolio or leave after a few seconds.

  • Speed and Core Web Vitals

Google scores on mobile and desktop, checked before and after launch.

  • Visits from abroad

How much the English version weighs and which countries inquiries come from.

Three lessons from projects like this.

  1. The right CMS depends on the autonomy you need

There's no best panel in absolute terms: the question is how often and by whom the site will be updated.

  2. Speed is perceived as quality

In a premium industry, a slow site signals carelessness even before the design does.

  3. Bilingual is planned from the start

Adding a language later costs far more than planning for it in the structure from day one.

The questions about projects like this.

If yours is not here, write to us: we will reply as soon as possible.

Can we update the site ourselves?

Yes. The panel is designed for people without technical skills: adding a project takes a few minutes and we leave you a guide with screenshots.

Do we need new photos of the projects?

If the original photos are good quality, those are enough: we optimize them. If they're missing, we can arrange a photo shoot with the network.

How much does it cost to keep it online?

A static site has very low hosting costs. For technical updates and support there are maintenance plans from €30 a month + VAT.

Can a third language be added later?

Yes: the structure is multilingual from the start, so adding a language mostly means translating and reviewing the copy.

If you feel
the time is right,
it probably is.

Tell us about your project: the assistant prepares the brief in two minutes, then a person from the team replies. No automatic quotes.
